Maya – The Spider Monkey

Maya is a very special spider monkey. Twenty years ago she was found abandoned in a garbage dumpster in Los Angeles left for dead. After her cries were heard and she was rescued they brought her to us.

We spent over 6 months nursing her back to health and gaining her trust. Maya has touched the lives of thousands of people and is still today one of our greatest animal ambassadors.
